The Altrincham bakery and kitchen is launching a new evening menu this Thursday - be one of the first to try it

No sooner had it opened than Blanchflower scooped a nomination at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards - ‘Newcomer of the Year 2018’. Perhaps not surprising considering Alex Shaw - who formerly won ‘Chef of the Year’ in the very same awards - mans the Blanchflower kitchen.

Passionate about creating innovative dishes (and sticklers for perfection), Shaw and his team do almost everything in-house: from baking to preserving and curing. A simple but carefully-sourced ingredient list does the rest.

Blanchflower successfully run separate menus for brunch and lunch too but this week they launch their new autumnal dinner menu - cooked over wood.

Blanchflower Cooking Over Flame

Expect the likes of cured beef with celeriac remoulade and fried caper berries; blackened Japanese aubergine with crispy noodle salad; and Himalayan salt-aged hangar steak with triple-cooked chips and pepper sauce.

Fancy being one of the first to try it? We have two tables to give away at the soft launch this Thursday 16th - each for two people, to include 2 courses, home made ice cream for dessert and a bottle of wine for each table. You’d be daft to miss out…

The competition has ended.

End Date - 16th August 2018
