The newly-reopened restaurant gets a big win at the Eat Drink Sleep Awards
ROSSO won Best Premium Restaurant in Central Manchester at the Eat Sleep Drink Awards last night. The awards, which celebrate the best restaurants, dining pubs, and hotels in Manchester, were held at a ceremony at the Manchester Piccadilly Mecure Hotel.
Rosso were delighted with their win, which follows their re-opening after a stunning refurbishment. The new look dining room is now characterised by a Grecian style of whites, creams and marbles, which bring out the distinctive features of the Grade II listed building.
Designer Lana Jenkins described the new aesthetic as, “Fresh, new and vibrant.” She added, “We wanted to bring out all the beautiful detailing. and the brighter colour scheme allows you to really appreciate the originality of the building.”
Let's hope the designers set aside a place for displaying awards. We have a feeling this won't be the last time the Rosso team bring home a trophy.
