The location certainly fits. The Midland is a Manchester landmark and its tea rooms, looking out over St Peter’s Square, share the same art deco opulence.
As for the food it is simply exquisite. As beautiful, jewel-like and elegant as any afternoon tea you could find – and it’s all vegan.
Take a look at the video and you’ll see a rainbow of dainty sandwiches bookended by sundried tomato tarts, traditional scones with jam and a glistening Valrhona chocolate dome.
