Promising disco and house at a stately home, the one-day debut hits Capesthorne Hall this August

It’s not often you see DJs spinning the decks at a stately home, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at Hide and Seek: a new festival promising dance, trance and more in the beautiful grounds of Cheshire’s Capesthorne Hall, a short drive from Manchester.

Hosted by established Manchester music promoters You&Me, ‘The North’s newest and most exciting boutique electronic music and arts festival’ will make its debut on Saturday 31 August and features leading names across house, techno, disco and minimal.

Confirmed acts so far include raw house man Dan Shake, infamous selector Francesco del Garda, American disco party-starter Jamie 3:26 and ‘master of mystery’ Nicolas Lutz. They’re joined by deep house aficionado Jeremy Underground, electro experimentalist Margaret Dygas, pioneer Voigtmann and breakthrough stars Praslea and Josh Baker. Legendary artist Mathew Jonson, meanwhile, will perform his spectacular live set and all things reductionist house will come from VBX residents Spokenn.

The festival will be held over several stages in the magical 'Mill Wood' area of Capesthorne’s 100-acre grounds, amongst three lakes and picturesque gardens. It’s the first in the region to offer a one-day trip through underground genres in such a setting, with a focus on artistic installations and outstanding audio-visual production.
