Manchester’s food and drink folk in all their finery
Hundreds of local restaurant, bar and hospitality peeps gathered inside the glorious Gorton Monastery on Monday night to discover the winners of the 22nd Manchester Food and Drink Awards.
The event, hosted by XS Manchester's Matt White and the BBC's Becky Want, marked the close of this year's Manchester Food & Drink Festival, which has been in its new Cathedral Gardens' home over past two weeks, drawing thousands of people into the city centre.
This year there were 18 awards including the best restaurant, bar, coffeeshop, chef, pub and retailer - plus two brand new categories.
