In the meantime, you can get a sense of the excitement whipped up by the unmissable food extravaganza with the new Obsession 20 menu at Northcote. It features Lisa Goodwin-Allen’s showstopping dishes from the event so you won’t feel like you’ve missed out at all.
The tasting menu with optional matched wine flight is a real gourmet experience. There’s a four-course tasting menu and a six-course tasting menu available so just see which takes your fancy. (That’ll be the six-courses then.)
From wild turbot with maitake and ponzu to caramelised celeriac ravioli with roasted milk and birch sap, it’s an enigmatic menu that’s full of flavour combinations you won’t be expecting, but my god, it works.
