The prize is a night of VIP treatment, starting with cocktails from their New York-themed signature menu. It traces each era of cocktails, beginning with pre-prohibition classics such as Rose Gin Fizz and ending in the here and now with their own take on the Pornstar Martini.
After cocktails, take a seat in one of their leather booths to enjoy two courses of their superb Pan-Asian influenced food. Executive chef Lee Evans has created a fantastic set menu featuring mains such as Soy and sesame salmon with chilli and ginger lentils, mustard greens, edamame salsa and basil cress, and desserts such as Chocolate and sake fondant with coconut sorbet and macerated cherries.
The service is always first-rate here: warm, efficient, attentive (they treat everyone as a VIP in this sense). And the setting is picture-perfect: marble tables and columns, chessboard flooring, chandelier lighting. It's worth dressing up for.
