Kasabian announced as second headliner, along with Sixth Form stoner favourites Muse

Kasabian has been announced as the second headliners of the 3-day Leeds Festival, taking place at Bramham Park this August Bank Holiday.

It's been five years since the Leicester lad-rock band played Leeds Fest, in which time they've gone on to headline Glastonbury.

They join Muse, who also topped the Glasto bill in 2016 before being announced as Reading & Leeds 2017's first headliners.

It gets more interesting further down the bill, though. Two Door Cinema Club are back at the festival, in the wake of their recently announced UK tour that includes a show at Leeds O2 Academy. Producer Flume joins the already-announced Major Lazer (who almost had a backstage scrap with Peace when they last played in 2013) to top up the EDM quota, and godfather of 90s dance music Fatboy Slim will also be making his first Leeds Festival appearance.

Speaking of Godfathers, Wiley has decided to brave the festival elements again following his 2013 Twitter rant while at Glastonbury. An appearance from Jimmy Eat World will give Emos something to smile about, and The Amity Affliction adds to a line-up of heavy bands including At The Drive-In, Architects, and While She Sleeps.

Other acts currently announced include Circa Waves, Rat Boy, Bastille, and Danny Brown. Weekend tickets are available now from the Leeds Festival website - as well as Wednesday Entry passes and something called a “Seat of Luxury”.
