A BRAND new design and retail event is to unite the region’s most talented designer-makers, independent brands and local food producers for a free weekend festival.

In addition to the wide retail offering, visitors to the Weekender can expect casual dining in its finest from Manchester favourite, Mary-Ellen McTague

From Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 June, ‘The Weekender’ will be situated at the heart of Old Granada Studios within repurposed industrial space and 'creative playground' The Workshop.

In the newly restored space, visitors will discover the 'city’s first gallery-style concept store' and bespoke bleachers from which a pop-up cinema will be a key focal point.
