'THERE'S an app for that'.

Yes it certainly seems that way, Apple.

From voice recognition software to Angry Birds, digital applications have continued to change the way we interact, consume new information and well, do everyday things (have you tried the remote control app? Blimey). In 2013, the NYDaily revealed the average smartphone now has 41 apps and life's tools have now been squeezed into one snazzy mobile device. How times have changed.

Now a great diet app would come with its own 'Food Snatcher'. The Snatcher would be alerted to come knock the cake out of your hand before you gobbled it down whole.

In the not too distance future, technology will advance to the point where iRobots (you know, like the ones from that Will Smith movie) will be ironing our underwear and burping our kids, probably.

Need a lightbulb replacing? 'There's a robot for that'.

The idea doesn't even seem that absurd.

Today, with both Apple and Android developers continually creating apps said to increase productivity (that's if we can get off damn Candy Crush), there's no reason why living a digital life couldn't lead to a better life.

Since you're probably looking at your phone anyway, here's the best apps to help improve your life in 2015:

All apps available on both Android and iPhone unless specified.

Users pledge a set number of days they plan to workout that week along with an amount of money they must put up. Users must pay for each day they miss, but they get paid every time they complete a workout. Pact now features the option to connect with other tracking apps.
